Naturally Timber is an Australian owned and operated family business which has been operating for close to four decades. Based in Sydney our master craftsmen have been working together for decades. This gives us enormous control over the quality of the 100% solid hardwood we work with and allows us to provide you with beautiful traditional workmanship and the ability to handle any custom requests.

Our Story

Our founder and master craftsman, Adnan Harb, laid the foundation of Naturally Timber in 1985. He made the run at his life’s dream after working with a French furniture maker (in Sydney), Marius De Franci Furniture, for a few years and mastering the art.

Adnan started off his journey by buying all the plant equipment and taking the premises on the lease after the company closed its operations.

As Adnan continued to pursue his passion, handcrafting high-quality furniture with beautiful designs, he soon met Helen – his future wife – who also shared the love for fine furniture, exotic timbers, and stunning “works of art” Adnan created. Together, they focused on building Australia’s top furniture brand – Naturally Timber – with a commitment to using only hand-selected, highest-quality timbers. The brand continued to grow with a philosophy that nothing can replace the human touch when it comes to making fine furniture.

Adnan worked hard day and night and would invest everything he earned to buy new machines and tools for his workshop. Eventually, his painstaking efforts paid off, and he managed to build an enterprise that was nationally acknowledged as the top manufacturer of high-quality handcrafted furniture, both among residential and corporate customers.
