A wide selection of drawer hardware is available, including knobs, pulls, and bar handles, allowing you to tailor the look to your space. The Carlton range includes six layouts, from compact 1-drawer bedside tables (600mm high) to 6-drawer slimboys (1,365mm high), offering a variety of storage options while maintaining the same balanced design.

What Makes the Carlton Different?
The Carlton is defined by three key design elements: a 40mm solid timber top with reverse chamfer, your choice of tapered or square legs, and a wide selection of drawer hardware.
The reverse chamfer on the top panel removes the visual weight that straight-edged designs carry, creating a lighter profile that suits open, airy bedrooms without losing structural solidity. Unlike the flat, square-edge profiles on our Contempo or Denmark designs, the Carlton’s chamfered edges catch natural light differently throughout the day.
40mm Top with Reverse Chamfer
The Carlton’s 40mm solid timber top features a reverse chamfer – an angled cut on the underside edge that gives the top a lighter, thinner appearance from eye level while retaining the full 40mm structural thickness. This adds subtle shadow lines that highlight the grain of your selected hardwood.
Tapered or Square Legs: Your Choice
The Carlton can be built with tapered legs for a lighter, mid-century profile or square legs for a bolder, more grounded stance. Both options are standard, with no extra cost. Tapered legs pair well with lighter species like Victorian Ash and American Oak; square legs suit the heavier visual weight of River Red Gum and WA Jarrah.
Wide Range of Drawer Hardware
Unlike the Amalfi’s rebated handles or the Contempo’s finger-pull detail, the Carlton is designed to showcase external hardware. Choose from knobs, cup pulls, bar handles, or ring pulls in brushed brass, matte black, satin nickel, and other finishes to match your bedroom aesthetic.

The Caroline bedside table is available in 9 solid hardwood species: 7 Australian natives and 2 imported. The curved leg cut-out lends itself equally well to character-heavy feature-grain timbers and more even, plain-grain species.
